Location: Kalispell MT
Hedstrom Dairy/Kalispell Kreamery has a full time job opening for a Dairy Farm Hand. Hedstrom Dairy is an all inclusive farm that calves out and raises their own heifers and milks 300 Holstein milk cows twice a day.
Position Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):
Feeding cows
Manure/Compost management
Herd monitoring and care
Scraping barn
Assist with milking
Dry cow management
Qualifications:
A successful candidate will be self motivated, work well on a team, be flexible, willing to work outside, and not afraid of large animals. Past dairy experience will be a plus but not required. Large equipment (loaders and skidsteers) will also be a big plus.
